Hosting A Fun, Affordable Easter Party
Easter is not only one of the most colorful of the holidays, but it’s one of the easiest to decorate for. Below are some tips and how-to’s for hosting a super fun and affordable Easter party!
Consider hosting the party outdoors. Nature is one of the easiest additions to an Easter party. It’s perfect for adding that little something extra. If you have the space, the resources and the weather on your side, why not go for it?

Have an egg dying table. Perfect for in or outdoors, designate a table to just dying and decorating eggs. Have this table covered with newspaper. You can add cups of a glitter, gems, pipe cleaners and other fun stuff!
Have a craft table. This is a great alternative to an egg dying. You can put items like construction paper, craft pom poms, stickers and crayons on the table for the guests to use at their whim. Have this table covered with newspaper as well.
(An easy Easter craft idea):
Check out this kid friendly craft idea from A Lot on Your Plate:

Use a pastel theme. Using light and airy colors will help set the tone for your Easter celebration.
Have your guests where pastels. Spread the word to dress in light colors to add a little fun to your color theme.
Host an Easter egg hunt. Purchase plastic eggs from the dollar store and watch for sales on candy.
Use chocolate bunnies as part of your decor. In the box or out, add the bunnies sporadically to the tables. Keep out of direct sunlight.
One of my favorite “go to” sources for holiday themed candy is Dylan’s Candy Bar!
