Super Easy Valentines Day Candy Squares!
Just in time for Valentines Day, these Pinterest sensations make for super easy Valentine snacks!
Prep Time: 2 MINS.
Bake Time: 4-5 MINS. (of until candy is soft)
Serves: a bunch!
What you will need:
(1) bag of Valentines Day M & M’s
(1) bag of pretzel squares (brand of your choice)
(2) bags of candy melts or chocolate kisses (different color candy is optional)
Directions:
Step 1. Pre-heat the oven to 350°.
Step 2. On a foil or parchment paper lined baking tray, place the pretzel squares at least an inch away from each other, followed by a candy melt or Hershey kiss topped on each square.
Step 3. Place your baking tray in the oven for at least 4 or 5 minutes, but do not leave the oven unattended (to avoid over melting).
Step 4. Do not allow your candy to cool when taken out of the oven. Working quickly (yet carefully), begin placing the M & M’s on top of the softened candy. You will know the candy is soft enough as the candy would crack when the M & M is placed on top. (If candy is in fact cracking, place in the oven for another minute or so to soften the candy up a bit more).
Step 5. Allow the candy topped pretzel squares to cool and serve!

Adorable and portable! I’ve got to give these a go!
Okay. I have to admit I’m so lazy, I looked at this for about 30 seconds wondering if I could do it. Then I saw you’d conveniently added prep time. HOOORAY. This is my kind of recipe. I might even spatter myself with flour and make it look like I’ve been in the kitchen for hours. Hugs and Thanks. I’ve got to take something to critique group next week. It will be this easy peazy recipe.
Such a cute idea! (and I look forward to spending more time looking through your blog!)
This looks so good and easy. I’ve done something similar with chocolate candy and the pretzels, but not with the colored candy. Are those candies the little bags of chocolate discs you could find in the baking aisle of a craft store?
Thanks for checking out my blog too by the way.
I am sooo sorry for the delayed response!! Yes, these are the candy’s in the little bags from the craft stores
